Risk framing for hiss-vault
The vault risk score summarizes structure — concentration, fuse coverage, oracle health, liquidity status, and readiness. It is never a prediction of returns.
Reading vault record…
Market risk
Vault holdings can fall. Depositors share profits and losses; loss of principal is possible and no return is guaranteed.
Tokenized-asset risk
Stock Tokens provide economic exposure via Robinhood Chain ERC-8056 tokens — not direct ownership. Corporate actions apply through the uiMultiplier, and feeds can pause (oraclePaused) while actions settle.
Oracle risk
Chainlink total-return feeds update 24/5 and may hold the last price off-hours. HISS blocks rebalances on stale or paused feeds, which can delay strategy changes.
Liquidity risk
On-chain venues for tokenized equities are early. Live routing stays disabled per asset until a route is verified; execution can be slower or costlier than expected.
Chain risk
Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum-stack L2. Sequencer interruptions can delay transactions; Robinhood provides no uptime guarantee to builders.
Creator risk
Creators operate their vaults. Skin-in-game floors, strategy-change notice periods, fuses, and receipts bound their behavior — they do not eliminate judgment risk.
Regulatory risk
Tokenized equities carry issuer-side restrictions (U.S. persons and other regions) — disclosed per asset, never a HISS gate. Rules can change; the public deposit gate can revoke public deposits.
- · Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns.
- · Depositors share profits and losses.
- · HISS is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, custodian, or order router.
- · Tokenized equities provide economic exposure, not direct stock ownership, unless explicitly documented for an exact token.
- · Each vault accepts public deposits once it is marked ready in the on-chain deposit readiness registry.
- · Robinhood does not endorse HISS vaults; building on Robinhood Chain implies no endorsement.
- · Withdrawals may be subject to a disclosed lockup. Oracle feeds can pause during corporate actions, and sequencer or liquidity interruptions can delay execution.
- · Nothing here is tax or legal advice.
